You can't risk losing the phone because it contains so much personal information, login credentials, and other vital information about you, but you did. Here are some instructions for finding the phone and then remotely locking or erasing it.

Before we get started with the measures, keep in mind that they will only work if your phone has the following options switched on or available. Before you tried to complete the measures, let's hope no one else noticed the phone and tampered with the settings or turned it off.

1. On your Android phone or tablet Use your Google key profile account to log in.

2. Go to find my device "Find My Device" and reach here.

3. A message is sent to your missing phone until the Find My Device web page is opened.

4. If you assume the phone was not informed of an occurrence. On the right side of the page, near the missing phone picture, click the refresh button.

5. A message will be sent to the missing phone once more. You can see the approximate location of the mobile on the map until it receives a notification. You'll always be able to see the last known position.

6. On the left side of the screen, you'll see three options: Play Sound, Secure Device, and Erase Device. If you choose the first option, your phone will ring at full volume for 5 minutes, even if it is in vibration or silent mode.

7. Safe Computer locks your phone remotely with your pin, screen lock, or password when you press it. You can set a new one if you didn't set any of them when the phone was with you. You may also provide some other contact information, such as a phone number or a message, along with the pin/screen lock or password, to make it easier for anyone to contact you if they locate the phone.

8. If you choose Delete Device, the data on the mobile storage will be permanently erased. Erasing all data also removes the Find My Device function. As a result, please take caution while following the steps.
